Uruguay

Steckbrief
Bienvenido al pais de
When I first arrived I was overwhelmed. I went to Uruguay – Colonia del Sacramento by Ferry – where I’ve gotten my first stamp! I was probably feeling like that, because Colonia marked my second stop within this journey and it made me realise I was really traveling…
To be honest the weather wasn’t good, when I arrived. But Colonia still is beautiful. It’s a city by the coast and has so many old buildings, little shops where you can just spent some time and admire tons of souveniers, jewellery, clothing…
The people here are super open and seem a lot friendlier and happier than in Buenos Aires.
Also it’s not huge, like for example Buenos Aires (the only comparison I have at the moment). That’s probably why people are more open here and they seem like they enjoy what they are doing.

How did I get here?
The easiest way to get to Uruguay is, to either travel there from:
- Buenos Aires
- Brasil
I took the Ferry from Buenos Aires to Colonia del Sacramento
Where am I headed next?
My next stop will be Buenos Aires again to do some stuff I’ve missed before.
